GENERAL LOAN ACCOUNT APPROPRIA-

TION ACT.

Act No. 36, 1947.

WHEREAS the Australian Loan Council at its of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-seven sixty-first meeting held on the twentieth, day decided in pursuance of Clause 3 (9) of Part 1 of the Agreement

An Act to provide for the appropriation of a certain sum out of the General Loan Account and for the application of that sum for certain Public Works and Services; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 19th December, 1947.]

Agreement set out in the schedule to the Financial Agreement Act, 1944, that the amount to be borrowed for the loan programmes of the Commonwealth and the States for the financial year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, shall be fifty three million two hundred and eighty-two thousand pounds, and by unanimous decision allocated an amount of sixteen million one hundred and fifty-one thousand pounds to the State of New South Wales, B E it enacted therefore by the Bang's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows :—

1 . This Act may be cited as the " General Loan Account Appropriation Act, 1 9 4 7 . "

2. The sum of seventeen million six hundred and seventy thousand pounds is hereby appropriated from the General Loan Account for the public works and services hereunder set out, and shall, as required be applied as follows :—
