GAS UNDERTAKINGS (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1995

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Gas Undertakings (Amendment)

Regulations 1995.

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Gas Undertakings Act, 1947, Regulations* are

referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 1 amended

3.   Regulation 1 of the principal regulations is amended -

(a) by deleting the definition of "Gas Examiner" and substituting the
following -

"Gas Examiner" means a person appointed or authorized by the Director, for the purposes of section 21 of the Act and these regulations, to assess the accuracy of gas meters;

and

(b) by inserting, in the appropriate alphabetical position, the

definitions following -

"Coordinator" means the Coordinator of Energy referred to in section 4 of the Energy Coordination Act 1994;

"Director" means the Director of Energy Safety referred to in section 5 of the Energy Coordination Act 1994;

Regulation 2 amended

4.   Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended, in paragraph (a)

and paragraph (b), by deleting "Commission" and substituting the

following -

Regulation 4 repealed

5.   Regulation 4 of the principal regulations is repealed.

Regulation 6 amended

6.   Regulation 6 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting

"Commissioner" and substituting the following -
"	Coordinator
Regulation 7 amended
7. Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is amended -

(a)	by deleting "Commission", where it first occurs, and substituting the following -
U Coordinator ,,; and
(b)	by deleting "Secretary of the Commission" and substituting the

following -

a Coordinator
