An Act to amend the Gas Supply Act 1996 so as to allow for the making of certain regulations relating to customer protection. [Assented to 28 November 1997]

Section 1 Gas Supply Amendment Act 1997 No 104

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

1 Name of Act

This Act is the Gas Supply Amendment Act 1997.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the date of assent.

3 Amendment of Gas Supply Act 1996 No 38

The Gas Supply Act 1996 is amended by omitting section 83

(4) (a) and by inserting instead the following paragraph:

(a) must be made, and must take effect, no later than 3 months after the date of assent of the Gas Supply Amendment Act 1997, and
