GAS SUPPLY ACT 1996 No 38—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) G. SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels, AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Gas Supply Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 30 August 1996 as the day on which Division 2 of Part 2 of that Act commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the provisions of the Gas Supply Act 1996 that deal with the provision of third party access to the distribution systems of authorised reticulators (Division 2 of Part 2).
