Gas Supply (General) Amendment

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Gas Supply Act 1996.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to correct a typographical error in clause 28

of the Principal Regulation concerning persons who are taken to be system

users for the purposes of the Regulation. At present, that provision refers to
“1988”. It should refer to “1998”.

This Regulation is made under the Gas Supply Act 1996, including section

83 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Gas Supply (General) Amedment
Regulation 1998.

2 Amendment of Gas Supply (General) Regulation 1997

The Gas Supply (General) Regulation 1997 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Omit "1998" from clause 28 (4) (a) (iii). Insert instead “1998”.
