Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas

Installations) Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2018

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

I.       Citation

These regulations are the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and
Consumer Gas Installations) Amendment Regulations
(No. 2) 2018.

2.     Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.      Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and
Consumer Gas Installations) Regulations 1999.

4.      Regulation 15 amended

Delete regulation 15(2) and insert:

(2) The permit authorises the holder to supervise the
gasfitting work specified in the permit if it is being
done by a person who —

(a)	has a permit to do the work; or
(b)	is a supervised gas fitter.

5.       Schedule 6 Division 2 deleted

Delete Schedule 6 Division 2.
