Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas

Installations) Amendment Regulations 2014

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and
Consumer Gas Installations) Amendment Regulations 2014.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day fixed under the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 2(b).

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and
Consumer Gas Installations) Regulations 1999.

4.             Regulation 3 amended

In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of caravan and insert:

caravan means a structure designed or adapted to be
towed or transported from one place to another and

intended for human habitation or use as a workplace

and includes the following —

(a)	a self-propelled recreational vehicle or mobile home;
(b)

an associated annex or similar structure or adjoining the main part of the structure;

5.             Schedule 5 amended

In Schedule 5 in the item relating to Class P delete “section 5 of

the Road Traffic Act 1974.” and insert:

the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008 section 4.
