Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas
Installations) Amendment Regulations 2003
Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations may be cited as the Gas Standards (Gasfitting and Consumer Gas Installations) Amendment Regulations 2003.
2. The regulations amended
The amendments in these regulations are to the Gas Standards
(Gasfitting and Consumer Gas Installations)

3. Regulation 33 amended
Regulation 33(3) is amended by deleting
“AS 5061/AG 601 — 2000” and inserting instead —“ AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”.
4. Schedule 4 amended
Schedule 4 is amended as follows:
(a) by deleting “$35.00” and inserting instead — “ $50.00 ”; (b) by deleting “$225.00” and inserting instead — “ $230.00 ”. 5. Schedule 6 amended
(1) Schedule 6 clause 301(1) is amended by deleting “AS/NZS
1596: 1997” and inserting instead —“ AS/NZS 1596: 2002 ”. (2) Schedule 6 clause 301(2) is amended by deleting “clause J2.1 of
AS 5601/AG 601 — 2000” and inserting instead —“ clause J3.1 of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”.

(3) Schedule 6 clause 302(2) is amended by deleting “clause 6.3.10
of AG 601 — 1998” and inserting instead —“ clauses 6.2.3.2 and 6.3.4.2 of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”. (4) Schedule 6 clause 303(3) is amended by deleting “clause J4 of
AS 5601/AG 601 — 2000” and inserting instead —“ clause J5 of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”. (5) Schedule 6 clause 404 is deleted. (6) Schedule 6 clause 506(8) is amended by deleting “Appendix H
of AG 601 — 1998” and inserting instead —“ clause 5.13 and Appendix H of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”. (7) Schedule 6 clause 508(1) is amended by deleting
“AS 3100 — 1997” and inserting instead —“ AS/NZS 3100: 2002 and AS/NZS 60445-2-102 ”. (8) Schedule 6 clause 702(1) is amended by deleting from “must
be —” to the end of the subclause and inserting instead —“ must be lined with a fire resistant material. ”. (9) Schedule 6 clause 702(2) is deleted. (10)
Schedule 6 clause 801(2) is amended by deleting “clause 6.1 and Appendix K of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2000” and inserting instead —
“ clause 6.3 and Appendix K of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”. (11) Schedule 6 clause 803(1) is amended by deleting from “clause
6.3.3.3 of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2000” to the end of the
subclause and inserting instead —
“clause 6.3.4.3 of AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002, a cylinder
compartment drain must be connected directly to the outsideof the marine craft.
”.
(12) Schedule 6 is amended by deleting “AS 5601/AG 601 — 2000”
in each place where it occurs that is mentioned in the Table to
this regulation and inserting instead —“ AS 5601/AG 601 — 2002 ”. Table

6. Schedule 7 replaced
