Gas Pipelines Amendment Regulations 2010

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Gas Pipelines Act 2000 .17 May 2010

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Gas Pipelines Amendment Regulations 2010 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 June 2010. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Gas Pipelines Regulations 2002 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4 amended (Application for licence to construct or operate pipeline) Regulation 4(1)(d) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Director of Gas" and substituting "Regulator". 5Regulation 20 amended (Transmission of gas for commissioning) Regulation 20 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Director of Gas or" and substituting "Regulator or". 6Rescission of regulationsThese regulations are rescinded on the ninetieth day from the day on which they take effect.
