Legislative history

1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Gaming Machines (Fees) Regulations 2019.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on 1 July 2019.

3—Interpretation

In these regulations, unless the contrary intention appears—

Act means the Gaming Machines Act 1992.

4—Fees

The fees set out in Schedule 1 are payable for the purposes of the Act.

Application for a gaming machine licence, gaming machine dealer's licence or gaming machine service licence

Application for the gaming machine monitor licence

Application for consent to the transfer of a gaming machine licence

Application for approval of a person as a gaming machine technician

Application for approval of a person to assume a position of authority in body corporate—

    (a)    if the person is the subject of an approval of the Commissioner in force under section 38 of the Act

No fee

(b) if an approval referred to in paragraph (a) is not in force but the person is the subject of an approval of the Commissioner in force under section 71 of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997
