Gaming Machine Regulations² (Amendment)

I, ALLAN CLYDE HOLDING, the Minister of State for the Arts and Territories, hereby make the following Regulations under the Gaming Machine Ordinance 1987.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Gaming Machine Regulations.

Procedure for purchase of gaming machines

2.  Regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “The procedure” and substituting “For the purposes of subsection 37 (1) of the Ordinance, the procedure”.

3.  After regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Rate of interest

“8.  For the purposes of subsection 57 (3) of the Ordinance, the prescribed rate of interest is 20% per annum.”.
