Gaming Machine Act 2004

1. Name of regulation

   This regulation is the Gaming Machine (Offset Amounts) Amendment Regulation 2024 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   This regulation commences on the day after its notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Legislation amended

   This regulation amends the Gaming Machine (Offset Amounts) Regulation 2018.

4. New section 4 (1) (f) and (g)

   insert

   (f)duty payable on a dutiable transaction under the Duties Act 1999, chapter 2 (Transactions concerning dutiable property);

   (g)duty payable on a transaction under the Duties Act 1999, chapter 3 (Certain transactions treated as transfers).

5. New section 5

   insert

6. Offset amounts—Act, s 10H (4), definition of offset amount, paragraph (b) (viii)

   The Duties Act 1999 is prescribed.
