Gaming Machine Control (Returns by Gaming
Operators) Regulations 1996
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to prescribe percentages of total daily net cash balances to be paid under section 136(3) of the Gaming Machine Control Act 1991.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 136 and 159 of the Gaming Machine Control Act 1991.
3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1
November 1996.

4. Prescribed percentages
For the purposes of section 136(3) of the Gaming
Machine Control Act 1991—
(a)
in paragraph (a), the prescribed percentage is 331/3 per centum;
(b)
in paragraph (b), the prescribed percentage is 25 per centum;
(c)
in paragraph (c), the prescribed percentage is 81/3 per centum;
(d)
in paragraph (d), the prescribed percentage is 331/3 per centum.
5. Expiry
These Regulations expire on 31 October 1997.
