Regulations 1997
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Gaming Machine Control (Fees) Regulations
19921 to prescribe a fee for an application for the
renewal of a venue operator's licence under theGaming Machine Control Act 1991.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections
26A(2) and 159 of the Gaming Machine ControlAct 1991.
3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on
1 November 1997.

4. Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Gaming Machine
Control (Fees) Regulations 1992 are called thePrincipal Regulations.
5. Amendment of regulation 3
In regulation 3 of the Principal Regulations, after
"19(2)," insert "26A(2),".
6. Insertion of new regulation 6A
After regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations
insert—"6A. Fee—application for renewal of venue
operator's licence
Under section 26A(2) of the Act, the fee to accompany an application for a new venue operator's licence is $400.00.".
