Gaming Machine (Amendment) Act 1999

No. 35 of 1999

An Act to amend the Gaming Machine Act 1987 and for related purposes

[Notified in ACT Gazette S42: 7 July 1999]

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1. Name of Act

   This Act is the Gaming Machine (Amendment) Act 1999.

2. Commencement

   This Act commences on 10 July 1999.

3. Application

   Section 23A of the Gaming Machine Act 19871 is amended by adding at the end the following subsection:

4. This Division ceases to operate on 30 June 2001.”.

5. Repeal

   Section 5 of the Gaming Machine (Amendment) Act (No 2) 19982 is repealed.
