I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Gaming Control Act 1993 .22 March 2021

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Gaming Control (Infringement Notices) Regulations 2021. 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 27 April 2021. 3InterpretationIn these regulations – Act means the Gaming Control Act 1993. 4Infringement notice offences and penaltiesFor the purposes of section 172A of the Act – (a) an infringement offence is an offence against a provision of the Act specified in column 2 of Schedule 1; and (b) the penalty specified in column 3 of Schedule 1 in relation to an infringement offence is the penalty applicable to that offence.
