Gaming and Betting (Amendment) Ordinance 1986

An Ordinance relating to gaming and betting

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Gaming and Betting (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.¹

Power of police to enter declared premises

2. Section 15 of the Gaming and Betting Act 1906 of the State of New South Wales in its application to the Territory is amended by omitting from paragraph (d) “break open doors, windows, and partitions, and do so such other acts as may be necessary” and substituting “obtain such assistance and use such force as is necessary and reasonable”.
