GAMING AND BETTING (AMENDMENT)

ACT.

Act No. 34, 1942.

An Act to make further provision with respect to the issue of licenses for racecourses under section fifty-two of the Gaming and Betting Act, 1912-1938; for this and other purposes to amend the said Act; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 24th December, 1942.]

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows :—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "Gaming and Betting (Amendment) Act, 1942."

(2) The Gaming and Betting Act, 1912, as amended by subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Gaming and Betting Act, 1912-1942.

2. The Gaming and Betting Act, 1912-1938, is amended—

(a) by omitting from subsection one of section 53c the words "five yea r s " and by inserting in lieu
thereof the words "s ix yea r s " ;
(b)
by omitting subsections two to six, both inclusive, of the same section. SCAFFOLDING
