GAMES, WAGERS AND BETTING-HOUSES

No. 43 of 1967

An Ordinance relating to Gaming, Wagering and Suppressing

of Betting-houses.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Games, Wagers and Betting- houses Ordinance 1967.*

2. In this Ordinance, " the Games Wagers and Betting-houses Act 1901 " means the Games Wagers and Betting-houses Act 1901 of the State of New South Wales, in its application to the Territory, as amended by the Gaming and Betting Act, 1906 of that State in its application to the Territory, and by the Gaming and Betting Ordinance 1945, the Games, Wagers and Betting-houses Ordinance 1964 and the Ordinances Revision (Decimal Currency) Ordinance 1966.

3. Section 21 of the Games Wagers and Betting-houses Act 1901

is amended by omitting the words—

"(b)	publishes in a newspaper the odds on any race to be run at a meeting for horse-racing or pony-racing.".
