FURTHER EXTENSION OF THE BAN PERIOD FOR THE INTERIM BAN ON CERTAIN DECORATIVE ALCOHOL FUELLED DEVICES

I, MICHAEL McCORMACK, Minister for Small Business, pursuant to section 111(6) of the Australian Consumer Law, which is Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, further extend the ban period for the interim ban titled ‘Imposition of interim ban on certain decorative alcohol fuelled devices’ registered on the Federal Register of Legislation on 16 March 2017, and extended by the notice titled ‘Extension of the ban period for the interim ban on certain decorative alcohol fuelled devices’ registered on the Federal Register of Legislation on 11 May 2017, by a further period of 30 days.

The interim ban commenced on 17 March 2017 for a period of 60 days and was then extended for a further 30 days to 14 June 2017.

The effect of this Notice is to extend the extended interim ban period by a further 30 days to 14 July 2017.

This Notice commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
