Funeral Funds Act 1979

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Funeral Funds Act 1979.

Explanatory note

Act 1979 in respect of funeral contribution funds and pre-paid funeral funds.
The fee increases are generally in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (rounded
to the nearest dollar).

The object of this Regulation is to increase certain fees payable under the Funeral Funds regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Funeral Funds Amendment (Fees) Regulation
2012.

2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 1 July 2012 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

7 Application for confirmation of a scheme of transfer of a trust fund $62
under a pre-paid contract (section 42 (3) of the Act)
8 Lodging a copy of an auditor’s report on the records of a pre-paid $62
funeral fund (section 49C (2) of the Act)
9 Inspection of any return or document lodged with the $19
Director-General under section 49G or 24 of the Act (section 49I
(a) or 88 (a) of the Act, respectively)
10 Provision of a copy of a return or document, or part of a return or $2
document, certified by the Director-General to be a true copy
(section 49I (b) or 88 (b) of the Act)—per page
11 Application for an enlargement or abridgement of time for the $62
doing of any act required by or under the Act to be done by a
funeral fund (section 86 (1) of the Act)
