Act No. 62, 1980.

An Act to repeal Part IV of the Frustrated Contracts Act, 1978, consequentially upon the enactment of the Courts of Petty Sessions (Civil Claims) Amendment Act, 1980. [Assented to, 28th April, 1980.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

  1. This Act may be cited as the "Frustrated Contracts (Petty

Sessions) Amendment Act, 1980".

  1. (1) Except as provided in subsection ( 2 ) , this Act shall

commence on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on the day appointed and notified under section 2 (2) of the Courts of Petty Sessions (Civil Claims) Amendment Act, 1980.

3. The Frustrated Contracts Act. 1978, is amended—

(a) by omitting from section 3 the matter relating to Part IV;

(b)

by omitting from section 6(1) (e) the words "Part IV excepted,";

(c) by omitting Part IV.
