17976 PRACTICE-PRIMARY PRODUCE. Fruit Marketirng Orgarnisatiorn, Etc., Act. 4 GEO. VI. No. 12, (5.) The rights conferred by this section for the benefit of the estates of deceased persons shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any rights conferred on the dependants of deceased persons by any other provision of this Act, and so much of this section as relates to causes of action against the estates of deceased persons shall apply in relation to causes of action under any such other provision of this Act as it applies in relation to other causes of action not expressly excepted from the operation of subsection one of this section." [ASSENTED TO 31ST OCTOBER, 1940.] B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Short title 1. This Act may be cited as " The Fruit Marketing ::atruotion. 1940. PRIMARY PRODUCE. Fnlit Marketing Organisation, Etc., Act. 17977 This section extends to any moneys made available to the Committee of Direction for the purposes of any such loan by a sectional group committee. The Governor in Council may authorise any other body or association of persons (corporate or unincorporate) to lend moneys to the Commonwealth of Australia in terms of this section. Amendments of the Principal Act. 3. Subsection two of section ten of the Principal Amendment Act is amended as follows :_ of s. 10 (2). (a) The words" and may from time to time" are inserted therein before the word" fix." (b) The following paragraph is added thereto, namely:- " In the event of any dispute or complaint to the Minister concerning the boundaries fixed or proposed to be fixed by the Committee of Direction for any such district or in the event of the Minister being of the opinion that the boundaries fixed or proposed to be fixed by the Committee of Direction for any such district are not fair, the Minister may appoint a person to recommend the manner of fixing such boundaries and, in that case, the boundaries shall be fixed by the Committee of Direction according to the recommendation of such person."
