2 Friendly Societies Amendment (No. 1) No. 457, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Friendly Societies Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Friendly Societies Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Replacement of s.3 (Forms) 3. Section 3— omit, insert — ‘Registrar may approve forms ‘3.(1) In this regulation— “approved form” for a purpose means the form approved by the Registrar for the purpose. ‘(2) For the purposes of the Act, the prescribed forms are the approved forms. ‘(3) A person may ask the Registrar for a copy of a document setting out the approved form for a purpose. ‘(4) The Registrar must comply promptly with the request. ’. ˙ Amendment of s.9 (Alteration of rules of friendly society) 4. Section 9— omit ‘ form approved by the Registrar ’, insert ‘ approved form ’. ˙ Amendment of s.13 (Special Resolution) 5.(1) Section 13 (after ‘an application’)— insert ‘ , in the approved form, ’.
