AN ACT to amend sections eleven and thirty-six of
the Friendly Societies Act, 1894-1946.
[Assented to 9th December, 1948.]
BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Friendly Societies Act Amendment Act,1948, and shall be read as one with the Friendly Societies Act, 1894-1946 (Act 58 Vint. No. 23 as reprinted in the Appendix to the Sessional Volume of the Statutes for the year 1923, with amendments to and including Act No. 48 of 1923, and further amended by Acts Nos. 38 of 1930, 38 of 1938, 41 of 1939 and 13 of 1946), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

| Amendment of |
Section eleven of the principal Act is amended by substituting for the words "a sum not exceeding one shilling" in subsection (7), line four, the words "such sum as shall be approved from time to time by the Min- ister."
