AN ACT to amend the Friendly Societies

A ct, 1894.

and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this presentBE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the Friendly Societies Act short title.

Amendment Act, 1918, and shall be read as one with the Friendly Societies Act, 1894, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Section twelve of the principal Act is hereby amended by adding to subsection three thereof a paragraph as follows :-

Provided also that where the sickness and funeral funds of a friendly society are administered by one central body for the whole society, such funds shall, if the Registrar approves, be deemed to be one fund for the purposes of this section.
