I, Rear Admiral Sir DAVID JAMES MARTIN, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in

pursuance of section 2 (1) of the Friendly Societies Act 1989, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 August 1990 as the day on which that Act (except section 130 and Schedule 3) commences.
