FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT 1912 - REGULATION

(Relating to the maximum number of

members of the Advisory Committee)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Friendly Societies Act 1912, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Friendly Societies Regulations 1935 are amended by inserting

after Regulation 38 the following Regulation:

Prescribed maximum number of Advisory Committee members

39. For the purposes of section 25B (1) of the Act, the prescribed

maximum number of members of the Advisory Committee is 11.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Friendly Societies Regulations 1935 to increase the maximum number of members of the Advisory Committee from 9 to

11.
