WH E R E A S it is expedient to amend an Ac t passed by the Governor and Legislat ive Counci l of N e w South Wales in t h e seventh year of t he re ign of H e r presen t Majesty Queen Victor ia in t i tu led " An Act to regulate Friendly Societies in the Colony of New South
Wales" in so far as re la tes to t h e inves tmen t of t he funds of such
societies Be i t enacted by H i s Excel lency t h e Governor of New South
Corpora te securit ies or in the securi ty of real or landed proper ty in the name of such Treasurer Trus tee or Trustees and from t ime to t ime wi th such consent and in accordance wi th such ru les as aforesaid to wi thd raw from such inves tment any funds which may he requi red to m e e t any proper demands upon any such society and tha t all in teres t and proceeds which shall from t ime to t ime arise from the moneys so invested as aforesaid shall he accounted for and appl ied as in and by
