AN ACT to further amend the Fremantle Municipal

Tramways and Electric Lighting Act, 1903.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by

and with the advice and 'consent of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Fremantle Municipal Tramways and Electric Lighting Act Amendment Act, 1931, and shall be read together with the Fremantle Municipal Tramways and Electric Lighting Act, 1903, hereinafter re- ferred to as the principal Act.

Short title.

Notwithstanding the provisions of section ten of the principal Act or anything therein contained, if at any time

borrowed the whole or any portion of any moneys borrowed by the said municipalities by the sale of debentures under the provisions of the principal Act, the Board may, on a resolu- tion passed by an absolute majority of the Board, expend such moneys on the repurchase of any such debentures.

The Board may purchase any such debentures under the provisions of the preceding section on such terms and
