Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Freedom of Information (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.    Schedule 1 (Bodies declared to be prescribed authorities)

2.1   Schedule 1:

Omit “Australian and Overseas Telecommunications Corporation Limited”, substitute:

“Aboriginal Hostels Limited

Coal Mines Insurance Pty Ltd”.

2.2   Schedule 1:

Add at the end:

“Telstra Corporation Limited”.

3.    Schedule 2 (Principal offices in respect of prescribed authorities)

3.1   Item 1:

Omit from column 1 “1”, substitute “1A”.

3.2   Items 8, 13, 21, 27, 35, 69, 90 and 119:

Omit the items.

3.3   Item 4:

Omit “Director, Administration”, substitute “Chief Executive Officer”.

3.4   Item 30:

After “Health”, insert in column 2 “and Welfare”.

3.5   Item 60:

Omit “and Communications”.

3.6   Item 75:

Omit “General Manager”, substitute “Managing Director”.

3.7   Item 78:

Omit “Secretary and Director of Research”, substitute “Deputy President”.

3.8   Item 85:

Omit “and Communications”.

3.9   Item 93:

Omit “Head”, substitute “Director”.

3.10   Items 117 and 118:

Omit “Health, Housing and Community Services”, substitute “Housing and Regional Development”.

3.11   Schedule 2:

Omit “Health, Housing and Community Services” (wherever occurring), substitute “Human Services and Health”.

3.12   Schedule 2:

Insert the following items in their appropriate numerical positions:

“1 Aboriginal Hostels Limited General Manager

19A Australian Hearing Services General Manager

91A National Gallery of Australia Director

125A Telstra Corporation Limited Chief Executive

 Officer”.

4.   Schedule 3 (Responsible Ministers in respect of prescribed authorities)

4.1   Item 1:

Omit the item, substitute:

“1 Aboriginal Hostels Ltd Minister for

 Aboriginal and   Torres Strait

 Islander Affairs”.

4.2   Items 3, 4, 5 and 10:

Omit “of State”.

4.3   Schedule 3:

After item 4, insert:

“4A Coal Mines Insurance Pty Ltd Minister for   Resources”.

4.4   Item 11:

Omit “of State for the Arts, Sport, the Environment, Tourism and

Territories”, substitute “for Administrative Services”.

4.5   Item 12:

Omit the item, substitute:

“12 Telstra Corporation Limited Minister for

 Communications

 and the Arts”.
