Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Freedom of Information Act 1989.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Freedom of Information Regulation 2000 to declare that, for the purposes of section 7 of the Freedom of Information Act 1989, the Veterinary Surgeons Investigating Committee is taken to be included in the Board of Veterinary Surgeons of New South Wales instead of included in the Department of Agriculture.
This Regulation is made under the Freedom of Information Act 1989, including sections

7 and 69 (the general regulation-making power).

Schedule 3 Public authorities

Omit “Department of Agriculture” from the matter referring to the

Veterinary Surgeons Investigating Committee in Part 3 of Schedule 3.

Insert instead “Board of Veterinary Surgeons of New South Wales”.
