s1 2 s3 Freedom of Information Amendment (No. 1) No. 383, 1994 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Freedom of Information Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1994 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Freedom of Information Regulation 1992 . ˙ Insertion of new s 5A 3. After section 5— insert— ˙ ‘ Act not to apply to certain functions of certain agencies ‘ 5A. Each of the following functions of the following agencies is prescribed for the purposes of section 11(1)(q) of the Act— (a) the function of the chief executive officer of a local government to keep a register of interests under the Local Government Act 1993 , sections 195(1)(b) 1 and 713(2) 2 ; (b) the function of the mayor of a local government to keep a register of interests under the LocalGovernmentAct1993 , section 713(1) 3 .’. 1 Covers interests of people who are related to a local government councillor. 2 Covers interests of senior executive officers, other employees decided by the local government, and people who are related to a senior executive officer or other employee. 3 Covers interests of the chief executive officer and people who are related to the chief executive officer.
