An Act to amend the Freedom of Information Act 1992.

[Assented to 19 November 2004]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.             Short title

This Act may be cited as the Freedom of Information

Amendment Act 2004.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

3.             Principal Act

In this Act the Freedom of Information Act 1992* is referred to

as the principal Act.

4.             Schedule 1 amended

Clause 5(1)(b) of schedule 1 to the principal Act is amended by

deleting “reveal the” and inserting instead —

“ prejudice an ”.
