Application for approval of the Fredon (WA) Electrical Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2020.

[1] Application has been made by Fredon (WA) ElectricalPty Ltd for approval of a single enterprise agreement known as the Fredon (WA) Electrical Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2020 (the Agreement).

[2] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss.186, 187, 188 and 190 as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.

[3] The Agreement is approved and, in accordance with s.54 of the Act, will operate from 13 October 2020. The nominal expiry date of the Agreement is 10 December 2023.

[4] The flexibility term in the Agreement does not contain all of the prescribed content. The model flexibility term prescribed by the Fair Work Regulations 2009 is taken to be a term of the Agreement.

[5] The Agreement covers the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia.
