AN ACT to continue the operation of section forty-one of the Forests Act, 1918 (No. 8 of 1919), as amended by section two of the Forests Act Amendment Act 1924 (No. 31 of 1924), by section two of the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1927 (No. 9 of 1927), and by section two of the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1930 (No. 28 of 1930).

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

This Act may be cited as the Forests Act Amendment

Act, 1931, and shall be read as one with the Forests Act,

1918 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

Short title.

2.    Section forty-one of the principal Act, as amended by s. 41

section two of the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1924, sec- An'

tion two of the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1927, and sec-

tion two of the Forests Act Amendment Act, 1930, shall

continue in force until the 30th day of June, 1932, and no

longer, and shall be deemed to have continued in force as

from and including the 30th clay of June, 1931.

The principal Act and its amendments, including this Act, may be cited as the Forests Act, 1918-1931.	Act and amend-
