FORESTRY (TEMPORARY

COMMISSIONERS) ACT.

An Act to constitute the Forestry Commission under the Forestry Act , 1916, by the appointment of temporary and honorary assistant com­ missioners ; and to amend the said Act. [As­ sented to, 20th December, 1916.]

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1. This Act may be cited as the " Forestry (Tempo­ rary Commissioners) Act, 1916," and shall be read with the Forestry Act, 1916, hereinafter called the Principal Act.

2. (1) The Governor may appoint two Ministers of

" the Crown to act as honorary assistant commissioners

(without salary) who, with the Chief Commissioner appointed under the Principal Act, shall constitute the Forestry Commission.

(2) Such honorary assistant commissioners shall have the powers and duties conferred and imposed by the said Act on the two commissioners other than the Chief Commissioner, and shall hold office until the above- mentioned two other commissioners are appointed, or until the expiration of six months from the commence­

ment of this Act, whichever first happens.
