Part 1    Preliminary

1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Forestry (State Forests) and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2022.

2   Purpose of revocation of forest reserves

For the Nature Conservation Act 1992, section 70E(3), the purpose of the revocation of the dedication of a forest reserve under section 6 is to allow the forest reserve to become a protected area.

Part 2    Amendment of Forestry (State Forests) Regulation 1987

3   Regulation amended

This part amends the Forestry (State Forests) Regulation 1987.
