Forestry Restructuring and Nature Conservation Amendment Act 1999 (NSW)

An Act to amend the Forestry Restructuring and Nature Conservation Act 1995 to make further provision for expenditure on forest industry restructuring.

1Name of Act

This Act is the Forestry Restructuring and Nature Conservation Amendment Act 1999.

2Commencement

This Act commences on a day or days to be appointed by proclamation.

3Amendment of Forestry Restructuring and Nature Conservation Act 1995 No 50

The Forestry Restructuring and Nature Conservation Act 1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1Amendments

(Section 3)

[1]Section 6 Limits on payments from the Fund

Omit “$60.0 million” from section 6 (1) (a). Insert instead “$80.0 million”.

[2]Section 7 Sunset on payments

Omit “30 June 2001” from section 7 (b). Insert instead “30 June 2006”.

[3]Section 11 Minister to report on payments from the Fund

Insert “(or, in the case of forestry industry restructuring expenditure, the period to 30 June 2006)” after “30 June 2001” in section 11 (2).
