Act No. 244, 1987

An Act to amend section 11 of the Forestry Act 1916 so as to enable the Forestry Commission to enter into certain sylvicultural agreements. [Assented to 16 December 1987]

Forestry (Forestry Rights) Amendment 1987

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Forestry (Forestry Rights) Amendment

Act 1987.

Commencement

2. This Act shall commence on the commencement of the Conveyancing

(Forestry Rights) Amendment Act 1987.

Amendment of Act No. 55, 1916

3. The Forestry Act 1916 is amended by inserting after section 11(1) (m)

(ii) the following subparagraph:

(iia) under which the commission carries out sylvicultural activities on, or under which the commission obtains the benefit of a forestry right (within the meaning of Division 4 of Part VI of the Conveyancing Act 1919) in respect of, that person's land;
