3 Forestry Amendment (No. 1) No. 101, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Forestry Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Forestry Regulation 1987 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Omission of s.6 (Forms) 3. Section 6— omit . ˙ Replacement of s.7 (Fees) 4. Section 7— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Fees ‘7. The fees set out in Schedule 1 are the fees to be paid for the matters set out in the Schedule. ’. ˙ Omission of s.35 (Wild stock) 5. Section 35— omit . ˙ Insertion of new Part 6 6. After Part 5— insert—

Each of the areas of Crown land described in Schedule 2 is set apart and declared as a state forest. ˙ ‘Timber reserves ‘36. Each of the areas of Crown land described in Schedule 3 is set apart as a timber reserve. ˙ ‘Feature protection areas ‘37. Each of the areas of state forest described in Schedule 4 is declared to be a feature protection area. ˙ ‘Scientific areas ‘38. Each of the areas of state forest described in Schedule 5 is declared to be a scientific area. ˙ ‘Reference to plan ‘39. The description of an area in Schedules 2 to 5— (a) by reference to a plan, the number of which uses the prefix ‘CWL’ or ‘RA’, is a plan held by the department that deals with matters arising under the Land Act 1962 ; and (b) by reference to another plan is a plan held by the department. ˙ ‘Replacement of statutory rules ‘40.(1) This section applies to an order in council or proclamation made under the Act in relation to— (a) the declaration of a feature protection area or scientific area that is

5 Forestry Amendment (No. 1) No. 101, 1993 declared as a feature protection area or scientific area under this regulation; or (b) the setting apart of a timber reserve that is set apart and declared as a state forest under this regulation; or (c) the setting apart of a timber reserve that is set apart as a timber reserve under this regulation; or (d) the setting apart and declaration of a state forest that is set apart and declared as a state forest under this regulation. ‘(2) The order or proclamation is repealed so far as it relates to the declaration, setting apart or setting apart and declaration, under the order or proclamation, of the feature protection area, scientific area, timber reserve or state forest. ’. ˙ Omission of Schedule 1 7.
