FORESTRY ACT 1916 - REGULATION

(Relating to penalties) NEW SOUTH WALES

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive

Council, and in pursuance of the Forestry Act 1916, has been pleased

to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 October 1990.

Amendment

2. The Forestry Regulation 1983 is amended by omitting from clause

125 (2) the matter "$50" and by inserting instead the matter "$100".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Forestry Regulation 1983 to increase from $50 to $100 the amount of the penalty for an offence dealt with by way of penalty notice.
