Forensic Procedures Regulations 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Forensic Procedures Act 2000 .10 September 2001

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Forensic Procedures Regulations 2001 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn these regulations, Act means the Forensic Procedures Act 2000 . 4Corresponding lawsFor the purposes of the definition of "corresponding law" in section 3(1) of the Act, the following laws are prescribed as corresponding laws: (a) Crimes (Forensic Procedures) Act 2000 of New South Wales; (b) Crimes (Forensic Procedures) Act 2000 of the Australian Capital Territory.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 19 September 2001

These regulations are administered in the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations.
