Food Amendment Regulations (No. 4) 2015

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Food Amendment Regulations
(No. 4) 2015.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Food Regulations 2009.

4.            Regulation 22 amended

date on which the animal was slaughtered.

In regulation 22(3):

(a) in paragraph (b) delete "Kondinin." and insert:

Kondinin; or

(b)	after paragraph (b) insert:
(c) room (whether located at the abattoir or at

a carcase that is to be processed in a boning a tag specifying the name of the abattoir and the

5.             Regulation 26 amended

(1)	In regulation 26(1) after "brand" insert:

(4)	After regulation 26(4) insert:
(5) A person must not remove from a carcase before it is processed in a boning room a tag attached to the carcase under regulation 22(3)(c). Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
Note: The heading to amended regulation 26 is to read:

6.            Regulation 27 amended

In regulation 27(2)(a) after "regulation 22(3)(a)" insert:
