Food Act 2001

1. Name of regulations

   These regulations are the Food Amendment Regulations 2003 (No 1).

2. Commencement

   These regulations commence on the day after their notification day.

   NoteThe naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3. Regulations amended

   These regulations amend the Food Regulations 2002.

4. Regulation 4 (d)

   substitute

   (d)commercial slaughtering of livestock for human consumption.

5. Regulation 5 (1) (d) (ii)

   substitute

   (ii)non-potentially hazardous;

   (e)a food business that only sells, through a vending machine, food that is non-potentially hazardous.
