Code) Regulation 2013

His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Food Act 2003.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to remove a modification to the Food Standards Code of the Commonwealth (as it applies in New South Wales) that relates to dogs in outdoor dining areas of food businesses. The amendment is made as a consequence of a change to the relevant provision of the Food Standards Code which now enables food businesses to allow dogs in outdoor dining areas.

This Regulation is made under the Food Act 2003, including section 139 (the general regulation-making power).
