s1 4 s3 Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Amendment Act No. 71, 2005 2005 The Parliament of Queensland enacts— 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Fluoridation of Public Water Supplies Amendment Act 2005 . 2 Act amended This Act amends the FluoridationofPublicWaterSuppliesAct 1963. 3 Amendment of s 4 (Addition of fluorine to public water supplies) (1) Section 4(1), after ‘Subject’— insert — ‘only’. (2) Section 4(1A) to (1C)— omit . (3) Section 4— insert — ‘(4) To decide whether to add fluorine to any public water supply under its control, a local government may inform itself of the local community’s views about adding fluorine to the water supply in any way it considers appropriate, including, for example— (a) by considering its councillors’ views about adding fluorine to the water supply; or (b) by surveying persons who use water from the water supply; or
