An Act to terminate the operation of certain pro visions of the Flour Acquisition Act, 1931- 1932; to amend that Act in certain respects; and for purposes connected therewith. [As sented to, 12th December, 1933.]

Majesty,

the same, as follows :—
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the " F lou r Acquisi tion (Amendment ) Act, 1933 ."
(2) The F l o u r Acquisit ion Act, 1931-1932, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the F l o u r Acquisi tion Act, 1931-1933.
(3) This Act shall commence on a date to be appointed by the Governor and notified by proclamation published in the Gazette. Such date may be the date of the proclamat ion or a date p r io r or subsequent thereto.
" This subsection shall not extend to flour coming into existence in New South Wales after the commencement of the F lour Acquisit ion (Amendment) Act, 1933 ." (c)
The F l o u r Acquisit ion Act, 1931-1932, is amended—
(a)
by omitting from section two the word " thirty- three " occurring in the definition of " wheat " and by inser t ing in lieu thereof the word " thir ty-four " ;
(b) by inserting at the end of subsection two of
section three the following w o r d s : — (c) (i) by inserting in subsection one of section four after the word "exercised" the words "after the commencement of the Flour Acquisition (Amendment) Act, 1933, o r " ;
(ii) by inserting at the end of the same sub- section the words "whichever shall be the
earlier date ."
