AN ACT to confirm the purchase of the Flinders Bay-Margaret River Railway, and to vest the said Railway in His Majesty.
[Assented to 5th December, 1916.]
Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Par-BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by andwith the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and
liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1. This Act may be cited as the Flinders Bay-Margaret River Short title.
Railway Act, 1916.
2. The purchase by the Government of Western Australia of Confirmation of
the Flinders Bay-Margaret River Railway, pursuant to the purchase. ment thereby authorised, is hereby confirmed.
3. The railway as described in the first schedule to agreement Vesting of Railway.
set out in the Schedule to said Act, and the land on which the railway is constructed, to the extent of a width (except as herein- after provided) of one chain on each side of the centre line of the whole length of the railway, and to the extent of a width at Karri- dale of two and a-half chains on each side of the centre line of the

railway for a length of thirty chains, and to the extent of a width at Flinders Bay (measured from the said centre line) of four chains on the west side of the line and of two chains on the east side of the line extending over a width of thirty chains termin- ating at the root of the jetty, and to the extent of a width of one and a-half chains (measured from the said centre line) on each side of the line of railway extending for a length of thirty chains at each of four other positions along the line of railway selected for sidings, together with the water systems used in connection with the said railway as at the date of the said agreement situ- ate on land belonging to the vendor, the jetty at Flinders Bay, the moorings, and all things appurtenant to or usually held and enjoyed in connection with the railway and jetty, and as more par- ticularly described in the second schedule to the said agreement, (the said railway and lands being delineated on a plan of eleven sheets deposited in the Department of Public Works, Perth, and marked P.W.D., WA., 18708), are hereby vested in His Majesty absolutely.
