REGULATIONS UNDER THE FLAX CANVAS BOUNTY ACT 1950.*

Flax Canvas Bounty Regulations.
“ authorized agent ” means a person appointed in pursuance of regulation 3 of these Regulations to be an authorized agent for the purposes of these Regulations ;
“ bounty ” means bounty under the Ac t;
“ the Act ”
means the
(2.) In these Regulations, any reference to a form shall be read as a reference to a Form in the Schedule to these Regulations.
(2.) An authorized agent may execute on behalf of the manufacturer any such notice, declaration, certificate or document.
(3.) Where a notice, declaration, certificate or document has been executed by an authorized agent, the manufacturer shall be subject to the same liabilities and penalties as if he, had executed the notice, declaration, certificate or document.
(4.) The appointment of an authorized agent shall be in accordance with Form 1 and shall be—

b ) lodged by the manufacturer with the Collector for the State in which the manufacturer products flax canvas

(2.) The notice of intention to claim bounty may specify a particular period for which the claim is to be made or may be for the period during which the Act is in operation.
(3.) The notice of intention to claim bounty shall be in accordance with Form 2.
(2.) Subject to the next succeeding sub-regulation, an application for bounty on flax canvas, the production of which is completed during any month, shall be lodged with the Collector in the State in which the flax canvas has been produced within thirty days after the end of that month.
(3.) The Collector may permit applications for bounty in respect of flax canvas, the production of which has been completed during a period of three months ending on the last day of March, June, September or December, respectively, to be lodged with him within sixty days after the expiration of that period.
(
a ) the weight of line yarn produced from flax grown and processed in Australia contained in the flax canvas multiplied by 1.37 ; and(
b ) the weight of machine tow yarn produced from flax grown and processed in Australia contained in the flax canvas multiplied by 1.50.

Flax Canvas Bounty Act 1950;(3) The description of the goods, and all the particulars relating thereto set out in the foregoing application for bounty, are true and correct in every particular ;
(4 ) The whole of the goods specified in the foregoing bounty are of good. and merchantable quality;
(5) Nothing on my part has been done or omitted to be done, and, to the best of my knowledge and belief, nothing on the part of any other person has been done or omitted to be clone, whereby the right of the manufacturer to bounty in respect of the goods described in the foregoing application for bounty has been forfeited or taken away ; and
(6) To the best of my knowledge and belief, no other application for bounty has been made, nor has any bounty been paid, in respect of the goods specified in the foregoing application for bounty.
